Recently, a 60% model review of Panjin Sanli's 100,000-ton-per-year new material project was successfully held at the general contractor Huisheng Engineering Conference Center. The review included 60% models of all project units, as well as PID reviews of multiple units such as gasification, formaldehyde, propanal, propanol, MMA, and air separation, as well as plant-wide utilities, pipe rack systems, and tank farms.
This project is a technological cooperation between Panjin Sanli and the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It represents advanced domestic technology, employing a three-step ethylene method. This process features a short flow path, mild reaction conditions, no toxic emissions, high conversion rates and selectivity. It opens up a new path for MMA synthesis and has excellent application prospects.
